| News: a force of Revoltuionaries have launched a raid on the costa del oro to destroy key government targets in the area the force comprised of 180,000 revolutionaries 15000 elite mercenaries 26 Combat helicopters 2 machine gun boats 15 Mobile Light missile launchers many of they objectives were destroyed and the death toll beleived to be high in the goverrnment forces though 2 of the helicopters were shot down |

| Message | The Defence Ministry has issued a statement on this raid saying the revolutionary forces were much smaller than reported by the rebels' news network and that the raid was only of limited success, with key targets remaining intact. The majority of people in Costa del Oro were simply frightened for their lives and hid indoors and backed the government defence forces who protected their liberty, very few joined the revolutionary thugs. |

| Message | OOC - obviously our two parties are just spouting propaganda and that's fair enough Just to be clear, though, as we take this forward - no one player can say we had XX casualties and the other side had YY casualties unless everyone consents to that - that would be godmodding. We can claim through news agencies that we had stunning victories etc but they can be re-buffed with counter propaganda. But even those claims have to have some element of realism. To claim there are millions and millions of troops all armed and in the field would be a real stretch, for instance - this is not exactly a World War!! I hope that's fair enough.
