MessageHerr Speaker,

Our Party supports this proposal.
We think that since our citizens reach adulthood in the age of 15 which means that many of them will start to work sooner, they also have to end their career sooner.

The other articles also mostly fit our program.

MessageMr Speaker,

We are glad to see a fellow party agree to our sensible and fair proposal. The government doesn't need to know the religion of an individual just like they do not need to know how they spend their Sunday for an example.

MessageMr. Speaker,

First, our comments on the bill itself: The ages of adulthood and retirement are set to multiples of 5 to make record keeping easier. We propose changing the retirement age to 60 instead of 62, and we will support it. We regret that this bill was set to vote in a haste. We also don't see any justification for changing the law about public financing of political campaigns.

Secondly, we must caution Carlos Everton about his comment on religion. Yes, we do need to know what religions citizens identify as, because we have a lot of laws that depend on us knowing citizens' religions. For example, Lodamese Nationalism is the official state religion, and only Lodamese Nationalists are allowed in the military. Also, the Indralan diaspora register with Indralan religions to make it easier for the government to understand which schools to send them to.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
