Message | All schools must be maintained under the democratic ownership of the people in order to ensure they are run in the best interests of the population. In a democratic society it is also unacceptable for anyone to able to use money to gain a different quality of education. |
Date | 01:38:16, May 26, 2005 CET | From | Abandoned NFC Headquarters | To | Debating the Private Education Act |
Message | Private schools are extremely open to corruption and graft. Public schools run by the government are the only way to directly involvement the government and the people. Only then may the people have a true voice. Limited private schools is like saying there's limited prostitution. It's either there or it's not, there's no middle ground. |
Date | 05:34:18, May 26, 2005 CET | From | MLC Old Endralonian Resistance | To | Debating the Private Education Act |
Message | Im all for variation and decentralisation in schooling but non-state funding just leads to corruption and bias , as well as causing unbalance in wealth between schools leading to a drain of the best teachers to the richest schools and the richest children . You see it just reaffirms the class system. |
