Message | This was the only other option (other than the one currently in effect): The matter of the appointment of ministers of religion is left up to local governments. While I am a big fan of devolution, I don't personally think allowing Regional governments to interfere in religious orders is any more fair for the orders than allowing the central government to do so. |

Message | Thing is, even if (when) this bill passes the Archbishop of Oalapo will still be a political appointment as it's the title of the Head of Government. A bit of a constitutional contradiction if you ask me. |
