Good Evening ladies and gentlemen.

With elections just round the corner, we shall be hearing from each of the parties on their plans and hopefully get a good debate going.

Parties can go in any order and what I would just say is that we would like to hear on the following 4 topics.

1. Justice
2. Terrorism, Communist Uprising and International Relations
3. Education and Healthcare
4. Nuclear Energy and Weapons

Any party may kick off proceedings and party delegates may respond to another parties speech.

Thank you!

MessageThank you Maria.

I am Ryan Gray and I am the leader of The Conservative Party of Baltusia. My parties vision is for a safe, secure and capitalist Baltusia, incorporating social security where needed. I am now officially announcing my running for President, on behalf of the Right Alliance. By electing me as your President, I will guarantee that Baltusia will be safer, securer and support more businesses than ever.

I would like to begin on the point of Justice. I am a strong believer that governmental position doesn't give you immunity from civil or criminal allegations. I also thank the Justice system in Baltusia for the incredible work they do to ensure a safe society. As president I would seek for criminal justice and prosecutions made where needed.

On to the second point of Terrorism, Communism and International relations. I strongly condemn terrorism and communism of any sort. Only within the last few decades we have seen innocent civilians killed by communist uprisings. I would seek to phase out communism and terrorism from this society. I would also create the ANTI-TERROR SCHEME BALTUSIA or ATSB, something I shall be outlining in more detail in my manifesto. Regarding international relation, as the founder of the United Nations and having both Baltusian and party delegates lying within our party, you can clearly see that we are for strong international discussion and relations. My party previously assisted in deflating the Kalistani situation and managed to peacefully resolve it without any bloodshed. My party is also a member of the Terra Union.

My third point is about Education and Healthcare. I am a strong believer that every Baltusian should have the right to a decent, quality, tailored education experience, up until their eighteenth birthday. I support the right for religious schools to exist and support the right for private education societies and schools to exists. About healthcare. I support a free, government run healthcare system alongside other private clinics and hospitals as it gives people more choice whilst still ensuring health security for 100% of Baltusian citizens.

The final point I shall be making is about Nuclear Energy and Weapons. I support nuclear energy as a safe, clean way to produce our nations much-needed energy. There is no point in ceasing production of totally safe energy sources. I support nuclear weapons too and shall continue to campaign on the International Circuit regarding the fact that we have (a) Nuclear Deterrent(s) as a few nations have decided to deny that we have nuclear weapons.

Thank you. I look forward to any responses.

Ryan Grey
Finance Minister
Leader of The Conservative Party of Baltusia

MessageThank you Ms Brown-Hernandez,

In regards to point one, and also touching on point two, I would like to take this opportunity to exclusively reveal more details on the Violent Organisation Act our party will propose following the election.

The bill will take the following form:

Violent Organisations Act 4097

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Description: A bill to make it illegal in Baltusia for individuals or Congressional parties from joining violent organisations or those that promote violence among its members.

Proposals

Article 1

Proposal to Change - Membership of political or non-political organisations

Old Value: Individuals or political parties may join any political or non-political organisation.

Proposed: Joining a political or non-political organisation that actively promotes or employs violence is illegal.
- - - -

This applies to any organisation that promotes violence and any party that joins them. But for starters if this law passes we will immediately call for parties in Baltusia to cancel membership of The Revolutionary Alliance - which we believe falls into this violent category. If this does not happen we will take the offending parties to court and look to prove their illegal actions.

We believe this is what the people want and why they will vote for us in the election.

Thank you.

Xander Fisk, Legal and Justice Spokesperson, Patriotic Party.

I am Robert Gibb leader of the Revolutionary Anarcho-communist Party though this name makes us sound like a violent extremist party we are not our political beliefs are founded on the principals that humans as a social race are able to cooperate with and help each other this theory known as mutual aid is our core we believe that everyone is equal that violence is wrong and that government should only be their to serve the people

On the first topic it is our belief that justice must be served and that the worsen the crime the harsher the punishment but we also believe that rehabilitation is the most important thing many criminals are forced to do crimes due to their poverty so rather than reprimanding them we need to help them we also believe that drug addicts should also be rehabilitated with help from doctors and finally we believe that the death penalty should be applied for the worst of crimes like genocide or mass murder

On the second topic I would firstly like to say that we need to solve the whole violent organisations debate quickly as the public will soon tire of our constant infighting we are here as representatives of the people also on this debate is the fact that the revolution alliance is not a predominantly violent organisation though we support revolutions we don not say that we support violent ones we believe that not being allowed to be part of organisations like this is curbing democracy. May I make it clear we don Not support terrorism and finally to international relations our party has always supported internationalism remember that former president Benn strengthened relations with Indrala and that the rebel side in the civil war had many countries supporting them if elected we will join many communities and treaties to strengthen relations
Thank you I will make the second part of my statement in a minute

Message(ooc: noticed you put it on voting? is it still debate oor?..fuck it) IC:
I welcome you brothers

I will go through the workers positions on all points.

On Justice, We want to end the cruel Death penalty, It makes no sence for the goverment to kill anyone, they should set the example, therefor if we are against murder the goverment should not be murderers.
We want to collectivise gaurded communities for a safer enviroment that can't be trusted by the private sector.
On the same stance we have for the Death penalty we don't belive it is okay for anyone to inflict hurt on individuals for any reson.
We want to restrict police robberies and break ins by regulating them to not be able to search anyone for any reason

On the second point, we are a radical left wing party and want this country to become a socialist anarachist society, We do not want any violence, but suport a peacefull revolution.
On the international community we want to keep drafting peace treaties and cooperate with the rest of Terra.

Education should be controled by teacher unions and in the schools we want to see more student democracy so the children learn and educate themselfs in management of societies, we want school to be free for everyone. and last we want to see an end to corporal punishment.
Healthcare should be free and available for all

We see that nuclear energy is clean and good, but more research should be done in better renewable energy sources.

Thank you for your time, the opinons of our workers have been told

MessageOOC: I was busy so here is the second bit of my speech
The third question is one of national importance first of all the education of our future generations is important but we shouldn't be training them for work but for life our party supports home education but for those who wish to go to school we will provide a free nationalised and flexible school system including the ability to go to any school and to take holidays more flexibly we wish to nationalise healthcare and improve its structure having better care and support for patients and their families
And finally we are highly sceptical of nuclear power and would prefer greener energies like wind farms and solar and water power we also believe that nuclear weapons are wrong and should never be used on civilians and only in rare situations in safe defence
This will be my last term as leader of the RAC ad I will be retiring ( I am 87 now) I will not be standing for president and instead the RAC will be endorsing the progressive party who I believe are a great choice
Thank you and good night

MessageWe welcome this debate and the full and frank answers the parties have given. We also wish Mr Gibb all the best in retirement. To say we we have not always seen eye to eye is an understatement but our party will miss the debates in Congress.

We also welcome the peaceful overtones the two left parties have made in their speeches. However, may I ask Mr Gibb one question: if you only support peaceful revolution why did you and your party openly support the civil war with the primary intention of over-throwing the government. Surely that is the very definition of violent revolution?

Thank you

MessageIn reply to mr Fisk we supported the rebel side because we felt that the people were being oppressed (OOC and also because the conservatives asked us to role play the rebels) we believed that change was needed after the harsh laws imposed in the people we only support violence when it is the last resort
Also thank you I will miss the debates but i am sure my successor will continue them😄

MessageThank you Mr Gibb,

One final follow up question - exactly which law(s) did the government pass in Congress that made you feel oppressed or you felt were harsh. This will help us to open up greater debate over similar laws when they are proposed in the future.
