Description[?]:
DSPR Chairman and former President of Rutania announced his retirement from politics today due to old age. Due to the prospect of an early re-election following the dissolution of the NPU, the party held an extraordinary conference to elect a leader in time to run in the upcoming Presidential election. Delegates at the conference elected Gerrard Winstanley, a DSPR member for Kragusrov and former miner, as Chairman of the Party's National Executive Committee, beating rival candidate Charles Cornwell from Ardinia by 55% to 45%. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
