Message | Herr Speaker, We really don't know what paramilitaries have to do with the existence of a republic. The DHB coalition partner even promoted the legalization of paramilitaries and still he is a republican. Jürgen Dallor Führer of the DDP |

Message | Mr. Speaker, How is a republic expected to exist when armed partisans are legally allowed to patrol the streets and "intervene" in private affairs? No, Mr. Speaker, We in the DHB believe removing paramilitaries are at the very heart of the republican initiative. |

Message | Oh and I'd like to add that this is the 2nd "Republican Act" and still there is no elected head of government. Cedrik Thaller just became President on lifetime, so we are still not living in a republic. By showing how incompetent this coalition is it only embarasses Darnussia. Message | Mr. Speaker, If the DHB is incompetent, it is only for failing to retract both the Kingdom Bill and the "Addition to the Kingdom Bill" Which the DDP, for whatever incompetent reason, separated into a second Act, before the most recent elections. Of course, having acknowledged that the people chose a republic at the ballot box, it remains only for the DDP to recognize this and vote to reform the Presidency into a fully elected position, as was the intent of all parties. We in the DHB however are not holding our breath. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
