Message | "As the original decision about Tukarali's endorsements for the Security Council seats was made by the former government without any consultation whatsoever, and as we have no information available why those choices were made by the PVeL, we have decided to withdraw all of them and prepare a clean slate. Ever since we retook the reins of government, we have been inundated by messages demanding that we change our votes this way or that way. We don't regard DEMANDS as good arguments, but are open to good reasons why we should give our nation's endorsement to one candidate or the other." Xavier Brotz, Minister for Foreign Affairs |
