Message | Mr. Speaker, This is probably the most stupid proposal ever to be introduced in the Staatsrat. What is going to be next? Permit for beastiality? Solange Lauernberg, DSU deputy leader. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This rash, irresponsible move would cause a lot damage to our economy than it would do good. First of all this would allow illegal organizations for establishing millions worth of fake agricultural companies which would lead to uncontrollable increase in drug trafficking. And deregulation would cause an increase of THC presence in the produced hemp. As you know current law allows the producers to produce hemp with the percentage of THC in range from 3 to 20% and any amount above that figure may be harmful to the human organism but may also be lethal if used without caution. The Dorvisch Soziale Union will not vote in favour and we hope that the rest of the parliament will do the same. Joseph Raustaaler, DSU (AGRICULTURE) |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I have one more question for the bill author. Sn in your opinion for the alleged overregulation of the industrial hemp production is deregulatin it completly "We don't believe that industrial hemp needs the current amount of regulation it currently has." That would be the result of the passing of this proposal even though you claim that you oppose the AMOUNT of the regulations you still vote in favour of complete deregualation which is so irresponsible that it leaves me speechless... Message | Ladies and Gentlemen of the DSU, Industrial hemp is currently legal and produced anyway, we can't see what difference it would make for non regulated agribusinesses to produce it. Ken Knochen, Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition |

Message | Ladies and Gentelmen of the FP, we know that it is being produced, the difference is that deregulation of the production would lead to the consequences I listed out in the previous statements. Joseph Raustaaler, DSU |
