Message | Our eco-system needs to be protected, if business are struggling with the regulations in place then we could offer subsidies to help them invest in better cleaner technologies which will in the long term save them money and and environment. Simply saying the government is to restrictive is not enough for us to support this bill. There are other alternatives. David Bushelle Leader of the SDP |
Date | 22:25:10, October 24, 2016 CET | From | Progressive Party | To | Debating the Ecology & Agricultural Reform |
Message | Libertarianism assumes that people will behave logically with their property or ocean expeditions... reality says that this is not always the case, and when we ignore the injustices to the environment - it usually comes to bite us later. We are opposed to this bill. |
Date | 05:22:49, October 25, 2016 CET | From | Populist Reform Party | To | Debating the Ecology & Agricultural Reform |
Message | While we disagree with the Progressive Party on their view of Libertarianism,we do feel that this bill would greatly hurt our economy and our standing in the world. We would however be willing to support compromise that sees heavy regulation, but legalization of things such as whaling or that allows private companies to log without a license. |
