Bill: National Service and Paramilitary Groups
Details
Submitted by[?]: Gaduridos Communist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4111
Description[?]:
We believe no Nation should depend on a military based on mercenaries, hired simply to kill. A true military, created and maintained to defend Gaduridos and its people, must also consist of citizens, willing and able to defend their country and themselves. Paramilitary groups should be banned, based on the fact that the power to wage war is too dangerous to be thrown around. It should, therefore, be restricted to the central Government. |

Message | We believe that forcing individuals to serve in the military is essentially a form of slavery, and we support the rights of citizens to assemble into voluntary associations, but recognize the possible challenge to the legitimate rule of law, and so regulate those certain groups. We oppose the bill. |
