Message | Mr Speaker Spending is out of control. We have a private education system, yet we are spending 41bn ALO per year on Education and Culture. This is not acceptable so we have proposed to cut the budget to 30bn ALO. As well as this, we want to invest in our future; this is why we are proposing an increase in Science and Technology spending. Gwyn Llewellyn, ANP Finance Spokesman |
Date | 08:56:58, October 28, 2016 CET | From | Alorian Labor Party (ALP) | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 4111 |
Message | Mr Speaker, This is excellent news! The ANP actually caring about the budget. But they mustn't care about it that much, because their plan would STILL result in a massive deficit of over 30,000,000,000 ALO. The only way to address the budget crisis that the ANP recklessly created is to back the Labor plan for a return to the progressive tax regime. Jörg Küchler Minister for Finance. |
Date | 11:29:23, October 28, 2016 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 4111 |
Message | Mr Speaker We currently have a deficit of 7.7bn ALO. What is the ALP talking about? Our budget will erase the deficit and ensure that we are running a surplus. I really don't think Mr Kuchler is fit to be Minister for Finance when he is making absurd claims like this. Gwyn Llewellyn, ANP Finance Spokesman |
Date | 14:36:40, October 28, 2016 CET | From | Alorian Labor Party (ALP) | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 4111 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, I withdraw my claims and apologise to the Senate. I did not take into account income from Sales and Corporation taxes. Jörg Küchler Minister for Finance. |
Date | 14:49:56, October 28, 2016 CET | From | Libertarian Socialist Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 4111 |
Message | Due to the drop in finances to the education sector, the RPA will be voting no on this measure to ensure their protest is registered. Llyr Davies Rhyddfrydol Parti Alorian |
Date | 14:54:27, October 28, 2016 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 4111 |
Message | Mr Speaker I realise that the RPA has concerns about this budget, however education is now privatised. There is no need for the government to be spending so much on education. Gwyn Llewellyn, ANP Finance Spokesman |
Date | 15:05:40, October 28, 2016 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 4111 |
Message | Mr Speaker I hope we will be proposing more budget cuts soon. Today, I have had meetings independent experts on the matter of defence spending. Our Defence budget is currently 50bn ALO. We came to the conclusion that this could be reduced significantly in the future. I will be having meetings with our Finance Spokesman tomorrow. Brynmor Owens, ANP Defence Spokesman |
