Bill: Fishing Industry Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Uniunea Hosia Democrată

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4112

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

Fishermen and fisherwomen are sturdily independent people and do not like their industry being completely controlled by the government.

The state should have a role in setting quotas, to prevent over-fishing and depletion of fishing stock, but the rest should be left to private enterprise.

Lucian Petrescu
Chairman of the Hosian Democratic Union
Minister of Justice
