Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, The following proposal has an aim to limit the police and border patrol officers' right to conduct house raids which are violation of civil rights of the property owner. I do suport the idea of deportation of illegal aliens but not by all means. We have to put a limit to police violation of basic rights of our citizens. Current law does not require the police officers to have a warrant to conduct a illegal alien search. Therefore I am proposing a reform which limits the police authority and bans them from active house searches in order to find illegal aliens but whenever a individual who violates the immigration law by entering the territory of Dorvik illegaly, stays on the territory of Dorvik after visa expiration date is a subject of the deportation process, Solange Lauernberg, Justice Minister, DSU |

Message | Herr Speaker, It is a shame for us to go against both our coalition partners for the meantime, but we believe house raids are a necessary evil. Although extremely rare, some illegal aliens could be dangerous terrorists, we therefore believe it is in the best interests for the security of our nation to continue searching houses. Also we believe it is not right for illegal aliens to reside in or nation anyway, they give migrants who come in legally and through the proper channels a bad name. Message | Mrs. Fürst, We in the DSU are aware of the differences in our agendas and fully respect those differences. But this bill is needed because we believe that active searches of houses are not the right answer to the matter if illegal immigrants and aliens residing in out country. I think that the Intelligence Service should be equipped with means of protection. Active searches without a valid warrant violate the right of property owners. The searches will still take place but only after intelligence service gathers enough evidence for the presence of illegal aliens otherwise the waarrant will be not allowed. Message | Excuse me Mrs. Furst, I meant the searches will not be allowed because the warrant will not be granted. |

Message | Mrs Laurenvery, How exactly would the Intelligence Service be equipped to deal with the situation better than house searches? More interference with our people's private lives, such as monitoring their every move on their internet etc? We feel a more organic approach is the best solution, by continuing house searches. As for warrants, we have considered this proposal but the problem is by the time we get a warrant, the possible illegal immigrant will already know we're coming and thus will not be able to be detected, thus this is a completely useless measure. The Progress Party says no to illegal immigration! Paula Fürst, State Chancellor of the Dorvish Republic |
