| Message | If we already permit opting out for religious and ideological reasons, anyone who does not wish them can - through those exemptions - avoid vaccines. There is an undeniable benefit to herd immunity. I accept that, at the end of the day, parents should have the option to decide what is good for their family, and also like other issues, it is not too much to have parents declare their reasons. The declaration is not so the government can be judgmental, critical, or even deny whatever 'ideology' is presented, but to understand better why some may not desire to eradicate ailments. |
