MessageThis is now a tax cut for EVERYBODY (except for a few in the £750-£1000 bracket who will pay the same taxes as before). 35% is far too high and this proposal removes the tax burden from the very poorest subjects altogether.

MessageVoting against this mostly because all funding legislation should be handled by the Finance Ministry.

And besides we are currently in talks with other nations regarding the construction of a trans-Artania canal...reducing our tax at this time would make paying for this much harder.

MessageNo it doesn't. Our budget is ninety thousand million and we raise ten thousand million through indirect taxation. That leaves eighty thousand million to be raised from income tax.
