Message | Cute. But no. If you wanted to be evil, you'd change it to something more subtle, like from "Imperial Province" to "Chateau Blanc". Or maybe to "Imperial Watchatalkin'boutwillis" |

Message | I'm gonna rush this one to the floor as the demand for White Castle has become overwhelming -- just remember that a vote against this is a vote against White Castle, and will CONFIRM in the minds of the people of this nation that the VBS' short-lived commitment to White Castle was a mere political ploy to sap the strength of the one truly representative political organization. |

Message | I'm still against. I'd prefer a name change to something with more general application. "Chateau Blanc" (French for White Castle) would be ok by me. |

Message | This has nothing to do with White Castle, you're just using white castle to try to pass your sick übermensch-ideas. In Germany, about 60 years ago, there would maybe have been a majority for this kind of bill We are a governement for all Selucians, not just for those in one province. As you can see, it is ssp trying to slidder himself into the white castle organisation |

Message | Your attempts to cover over your own hatred of White Castle only solidifies our knowledge that the VBS hates yummy steam-grilled burgers. You invoke the thinly veiled reference to Nazism as a scare tactic to keep the people locked into your monopolistic fast food joints - we say NO MORE! |

Message | Odd that a party who caters so blatantly to the needs of West Shadar suddenly claims to represent the entire Nation. How convenient. |

Message | I've never tried White Castle, by the way. The closest one is an 8 hour car ride. HOwever, I did love Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, and plan to visit one as soon as I can. |

Message | COULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT WHITE CASTLE HAS TO DO WITH TELLING SELUCIANS ULEROTH IS THE BEST PROVINCE??? |
Date | 15:18:57, February 03, 2006 CET | From | Selucian Sovereignty Party | To | Debating the Uleroth Promotion Act |
Message | It has nothing to do with that - that's my point. ULP loves White Castle, so as my compromise, I offered an alternative and less perjorative manner in which ULP could make a change that he would like, without changing the provincial names to something that would insult the other four provinces. |

Message | It has EVERYTHING to do with Uleroth being the best province: 1. Uleroth is the HQ of White Castles in Selucia - that's where over 50% of their domestic marketshare is. So the fact that they started there requires that we remind the other provinces who they have to thank for White Castles being in Selucia, lest they forget and become ungrateful when there are White Castles everywhere. 2. It's an analogy - Uleroth : Selucia :: Steam-Grilled Patties : Pickles, Onions, and a Bun. With our schools falling dangerously below other countries, we want our kids to be able to learn about analogies while they still can and to have a real life example. 3. It's geographic - Look even at the map of the nation, Uleroth is the one Province with its own island, sandwiched between the bun of the other two islands. 4. It promotes racial harmony - Although Uleroth is the center of White Castle activity in the nation now, it also has one of the highest minority populations. When we pass a bill telling them we are going to be building *WHITE* Castles around the country, they may be upset, so we need to offset that by reassuring them that they are still the greatest Province in the country. 5. The ULA has issued terrorist threats that they will poison the pickles at every White Castle in the country unless this province title provision is adopted, and we shouldn't spread White Castles if they will just POISON our whole population - or is that the sort of socialist, big-government hullaballoo that the VBS is hoping for? And as for the more subtle option, I like it, but subtlety is not the ULA's cup of tea. I mean these are still people who think that Diff'rent Strokes represents a model of quality race relations --- so they've got that going against them. |

Message | ULP: why don't you go just playing in the sand or with your puppets, in stead of bullying people in online roleplays? |
Date | 18:28:50, February 03, 2006 CET | From | Selucian Sovereignty Party | To | Debating the Uleroth Promotion Act |
Message | Bullying? Bullying is swearing at people, telling them their ideas are "bull$hit", calling them "idiot", etc. You are confusing bullying with genuine debate, which is what ULP is engaging in. If you can't stand the heat VBS, you can leave the kitchen at any time. |

Message | Huh? I didn't realize I was bullying anyone by suggesting a nice little name change with one of the proposals that I had sitting around for a laugh. I'm sorry if you felt bullied by my joke. I'll try to be less funny in the future. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
