Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: May 4121

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

The government is of the opinion that the taxes in this country are too high. These new tax proposals aswel as the new spending bill will increase government spending on vital area's that need it but also give more money back to the working man.

The relative high taxes were created by parties who blindly had the outdated sense of thinking the poor got richer by taxing them and then just spending the money everywhere. Making the economy and the people addicted and chained to the government like a drug. This government will stop this immidiatly and focus spending on vital area's which are the core tasks of the government: Health, Education, Infrastructure, Safety & Security , Defense & Foreign Affairs.

Tax proposal:

The proposal will decrease the government revenue and surplus by about 7% of the GDP. This will cause a massive investment into the working people's pockets and stimulates jobs and growth. The government will do this by lowering the income and corporation taxes drasicly whilest leaving the VAT taxes unchanged.

Budget Cuts:

The government will lower spending towards Foreign Affairs by 10 billion NED as it feels that it will not be able to use this money to its fullest at this department. The ministery of finance will also be cut by 10 billion as the ministery does not need the money for its duties and projects. The food and agricultural budget is lowered aswel to make room for investments in other departments that belong to the core duties of the state.

Budget Investments:

In line with the vision of the government to spend more on its core tasks and dutires the government has decided to spend an extra 20 billion into education and internal affairs. The first one is done to increase studentloans aswel as give proper education to our children. The latter is done to give more attention and money to the prevention of terrorist attacks aswel as putting more cops with better training on the streets. Leading up to a total extra investment of 15 billion NED being added to the budget.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We would prefer to continue with our existing overseas aid commitments. If we reduce it, the most vulnerable people on the planet will suffer.

In our view, the extra spending proposed for Internal Affairs is not strictly necessary.

The extra spending planned for Education is fantastic, and we would welcome a much bigger increase.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This is the limit of budget increases. More spending doesnt always solve problems. We allocated what whas needed most to vital areas as ahreed per coalition agreement.

153 billion NED has been added to the budget since the rise of the other parties in this house. We find that more then enough.
