Due to the diversity of this great country each region should be able to tailor its own regional curriculum in order to suit the culture, traditions and history of that state. Old value:: There is a National Curriculum which all government schools are obliged to follow; non-government schools are partially exempt.
Current: There is a National Curriculum which all schools are obliged to follow.
Proposed: There is no National Curriculum; curriculum policies for all schools are determined on a local level by local governments.
