Message | Debate on the SDA proposals is now open |
Date | 00:26:45, November 22, 2016 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) | To | Debating the The Labour Protection Act |
Message | "Mr speaker, LDP supports the articles about workers right to strike and their protection from being fired for doing so, aswell as a ban on child labour. However, as a liberal party we do not support state monopoly and are therefore naturally against the idea of nationalisations. We have already in a series of bills tried to liberalize Telamons economy, and we have no intentions on changing course. But besides that we would like to welcome SDA to Telamon and to congratulate them on their efforts to helt the working man." Mark Paulson Chairman of LDP |

Message | Mr Speaker, We welcome the support for our efforts to help the working classes of our nation from the right honourable gentleman. We are disappointed by his opposition to the nationalisation of industries and utilities. Consider this, Mr Speaker- the state owns the industries. The state funnels the profits and surpluses back into these industries and the national budget. With money generated, we can keep taxes lower so ordinary hard working citizens have more money in their pockets. The economy benefits from lowered taxation rates over time, and the rest of the non-state economy benefits too- would the honourable gentleman not agree? *Padraig Pearse resumes his seat* |

Message | "Mr Speaker, I respect the honourable gentlemans honest belief that the state is in its very nature good and should work for the benefit of all citizens, on that broad philosophical level we do agree with eachother. However the nationalisations proposed in this bill are not in profitable sectors of our economy, it's about nationalisation of power grids, public works, airports and housing. All of which would result in a spending increase for the state, which realistically would result in a tax increase that would indeed hurt the common man. However if SDA were to split this bill, so that the articles about workers rights and a ban on child labour were in a bill of its own we would wholeheartedly support that" Mark Paulson Chairman of LDP |

Message | Workers are subjects of our nation and they should not have many liberties, epecially right to strike. |
Date | 20:15:50, November 22, 2016 CET | From | SocialDemokratisk Allians | To | Debating the The Labour Protection Act |
Message | "Workers are citizens- thus they have freedoms of speech, expression, thought and belief! We can shout in this place to express disapproval of policy. We can refuse to vote- refuse to do our jobs- out of disagreement. Strikes are legitimate expressions of grievance, and should be permitted." |

Message | "Mr Speaker, I agree with the honorouble gentleman from SDA, all workers must have the right to strike. In that, SDA is fighting a noble cause. However, i'm very suprised to see that RWM votes against these right. Is there any explaination to be offered from the respectable gentlemen in RWM for why doe choose to vote no?" Date | 22:05:53, November 23, 2016 CET | From | Liberal Social Democratic Party | To | Debating the The Labour Protection Act |
Message | "The RWM does not support all of these proposals. Some are very hostile to ideas of socialism." RWM's position. |
Date | 22:45:12, November 23, 2016 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) | To | Debating the The Labour Protection Act |
Message | "Mr Speaker, All of these articles are indeed socialist friendly, so what on earth are the honorouble gentelman RWM talking about? This bill is socialist to its very core!" Mark Paulson Chairman of LDP |
Date | 22:51:22, November 23, 2016 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) | To | Debating the The Labour Protection Act |
Message | "Mr Speaker, If I may ad something to my recent statement; What RWM is doing by voting no to this bill is that they actively vote AGAINST workers right to strike and vote FOR child labour. This is nothing short of a betrayal of the working class by the so called "pro-union socialists" of RWM!" Mark Paulson Chairman of LDP |

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn |
