Bill: National Budget Standardisation Act 4126
Details
Submitted by[?]: Coalition for National Unity [CNU]
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4127
Description[?]:
The Unionists propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Democratic Republic of Solentia. The basic formula used here is that there are four "categeories" of Government Department and their budget is standardised based on their categorisation. Governments can redesignate categories as they see fit when in-power but the budget will become stable and not be prone to huge cuts or increases. The four categories; Category A - Executive Departments Allocation: 30 million SOL - Government Departments whose sole purpose is for Executive function. Category B - Administrative Departments Allocation: 10 billion SOL - Government departments whose function is to coordinate bureaucracy but have little further spending to conduct. Category C - Stimulus Departments Allocation: 20 billion SOL - Government departments whose function is to make strategic investments into the economy or to fund agencies. Category D - Major Public Service (MPS) Departments Allocation: 50 billion SOL - Government departments whose function relies on them running a major public service or nationalised industry. |
