Message | Giorgio Accorsi, National Secretary of ISLP: "Mr Figni, I do not know if keep me from laugh or cry, yes, it's true that today Istalia have a good surplus. But 4,342,941,935 LIS minus 5,357,579,010 LIS, at my home give a resut of -1,014,637,075. Do you want cut the tax to do... what? Oblige the state to suffer the burden of a debt? Already the State made a similar efforts for an objective much more sensible and noble few years ago, to assure the security of the nation. Today the nation is collecting the fruits of its economic growth and succes and I said you, and I would like said to this Parliament and to istalians, that this opportunity will be use for the good and the well-being of our citizens. We firmly believe that the state have a very "simple" objective: graant the security of our citizens, of the society of which the state is the highest organized expression. And graant the security is not only control the borders and the streets, security means a promising future and a life away from the suffering of poverty, means equal opportunity, means more opportunity. We believe in our state capacity, and know our objectives, and we believe also in the great opportunity of the free market. The ISLP has embraced this "philosophy", try to assure the best of what I personally like call "human services" and aid our economy to growth and take advantage from the efficiency of the free market. But aid our economy don't means simply esclude it from contribute to the expenses of the state and sure don't means to deprive it of workers as much as possible prepared or do not give opportunity to project and research. We have to invest in our children, we have to invest in their education and formation, and in our technology, more, for a radian future. Thank you" |
