MessageIt's a shame that praying in schools should be encouraged while Schools are places to make and study Science, not mythologies.

ToDebating the Programme for the Protection of Religious Freedom, 4129
Message"I would like to remind the PPS that teacher-lead prayers are currently mandatory in schools and this bill would give schools the freedom NOT to have them.

However, as schools are not just a place for science, as the Mr Savio Luiz claims, but also places where pupils learn about our cultural heritage, our history and about ethics, we would still encourage schools to have prayers, as they form part of our culture and our history and provide people with moral values that are necessary for the functioning of our democratic society."

ToDebating the Programme for the Protection of Religious Freedom, 4129
MessageWe do not see an actual need for dividing the state and the religion in diferent paths, the current state having its own religion is nonetheless, part of our culture, still, we do not enforce anyone to follow the state religion, which is in our vision, totally fine.

Souza, Roberto Minister of Education and Culture

Message"Mr Souza, the official state religion is a very recent introduction and not really part of Tukarali's cultural heritage. Anyway, which religion is the state religion? That has never been defined in any way and having a state religion but not knowing what it is is simply plain silly."
