Message | The checks and balances which a applicant for adopting must go through are good enough. Homosexuality, is not an illness, it is present from birth and is not taught, even if it was, adoptees should be judged on there skills to cope with bringing up a child not their personal choices or sexual orientation |

Message | No, homosexuality is not accepted in society...children will be set up for failure. |
Date | 02:05:13, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Republican Socialist Party of Alduria | To | Debating the Adoption Bill |
Message | Failure? What will a child who is brought up in a loving environment by a homosexual person, provided with the neccessities and mild comforts of life have anymore chance of failing at than a child who does not recieve unconditional positive regard, who is not taught to respect for others differences but had a mother/father? |
Date | 02:27:52, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Aldurian Capitalist Pig Party | To | Debating the Adoption Bill |
Message | Society will discriminate against the child because of the relationship of the parents. It is not accepted by the average Aldurian. |

Message | What basis do you have for that argument, combined the RSPA, GWU and the ALSP have more seats that you, I'm pretty sure we all support this bill, if I'm right unless you now claim that the polls are rigged, we have a mandate greater than yours which says homosexuals are entitled to adopt. |

Message | Why do I win the HoS? If the Unity party did not exist, we would get the votes...Take a look at the opinions of the regions. Our party was the top in every region except one. You all pitted combined votes for the HoS and you could not beat my party. |

Message | Yet some how in the parliament we regularly pass our bills and defeat yours, we are a very left wing alliance, you are quite right wing, personally I dont believe all the Unity parties votes would go to you...but surely, if ALSP and GWU were not in the race my party (and the same for the ALSP and GWU in a similar situation) would be the biggest party in the parliament. You are not applying logic to your arguments |

Message | Just checked, our voting is a small margin closer to that of the Unity party than yours .....OOC: Please close yer arse and start talking out of your mouth |

Message | Why the the attack on person? How about talking about ideas instead of telling people to shut u You all backed one party for president and we still won. |

Message | Actually the GWU did not endorse the ALSP, but they say they will be doing so next election. The Social Liberists held the top spot when the RSPA arrived on the scene...it wasnt personal..your argument crap in the parties consideration, you often argue from such a narrow frame of view its not even worth the bother. The parties that believe adoption should not be refused on the basis of sexual orientation were elected on that platform, it was obvious from previous voting. I cannot speak for the as of yet abstaining GWU and Unity, but at the moment the grand people of Alduria voted in 159 MP's who support the bill and only 129 that oppose, it doesnt take a mathematician. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
