Message | In order to pay for the extra foreign aid and spend the surplus built up over the years, we have slightly increased spending in the above areas. A small deficit (0.6% of revenue) will be expected. OOC: I think there's a feedback effect in the spending and GDP. If the government spends more, the GDP, partially based on government spending, increases and so the revenue does, particularly the revenue from luxury tax. So it it is difficult to actually to spend to a deficit, which would explain the budgets over the years. |
