| Wheras New Rildanor is currently spending more than it takes in. Wheras the citizens of Rildanor should not be asked to bear anymore taxes in the form of income taxation. Wheras the government of Rildanor is resolved that we shall not abandon important services by means of spending cuts. Wheras taxation on corporations is the most fair means to balance the tax burden, and a luxury tax places a tax only on those people who buy luxury goods, creating a user fee of sorts. Resolved, that the Rildanor government endorses this plan to equitably increase the Luxury and Corporation taxes to fulfill our obligations to the people and to future generations who should not have to pay off our debt. |

| Message | Actually, we were just proposing a tax increase to meet the needs of our economy. In a sense, I suppose, we are undoing what he did. But didn't he just undo what I had done before when I first increased the taxes. And wasn't I just undoing what the party had done before me when they decreased the taxes? |

| Message | I may have lowered these two taxes before but I did so in a way that is not so dramatically significant. You're raising corporate taxes by 500%, which is ridiculous given the short time span in which this bill will be implemented if it passes. These taxes need not be this high and we urge all parties, even if you are in favour of higher taxes, to oppose this law to allow for a more reasonable rate. |
