Bill: Nationalist Republican Party Manifesto (4131)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Solentian Nationalist People's Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4132
Description[?]:
We espouse traditional conservative beliefs with an emphasis on national defense. Rapid changes in society are not harmful, slow and thorough consideration is critical. The NRP is entirely opposed to globalism. We are not isolationist, but we can't allow international entities to govern our affairs. Close relations with our allies are important, but we can't ignore the interests of Solentia. In essence, our foreign affairs policies would be summarized "Solentia first." Communists and socialists in the political process are fine, but those that advocate for a revolution will not be tolerated by the NRP. Overall, all parties of all political persuasions will be respected by the NRP, but those that are militant and violent with their views should and won't be taken seriously. We are in favor of fiscal conservatism, yet we are not hell bent against government stimulus, but we can't go overboard in doing so. The budget should be balanced, and any national debt will need to be eliminated as fast as possible. Central planning is wasteful and inefficient and we must rely on the free market. |

Message | We like some of these but a huge no to Article 4. We just instituted the National Service Act and revoking it would cut our military manpower in half, a year after we doubled it. It would also send 300,000 service workers home who are rebuilding Solentia's infrastructure following years of neglect due to massive unregulated privatization. |

Message | Thank you for your input. In the near future a revised bill will be proposed that should be more well received. This bill was mainly to establish some of the core principles the NRP will advocate for in future proposals. |
