Bill: Income tax proposal of February 4132

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nouveau Centre

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4133

Description[?]:

Monsieur le President,

This simplification of the tax code allows individuals to keep more of the money they earn, and will grow our economy by driving private sector growth. When the people have more money in their pockets, they can choose to save, thus increasing investment, or they can buy products, which will grow businesses, lead to more a greater demand for jobs, and more production.

I yield.

Sidonie Chevrier (Nouveau Centre)
Minister of Finance
Deputy for Tiralouse

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left.
