Bill: Chiesa e del paese- Part 2

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Calvinist Unionist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2181

Description[?]:

This is to weed out the final parts of religion which continue to appear in all layers of government. As stated in the first Chiesa e del paese bill, as long as the government is involved in religion, religions will war amongst themselves. When the government leaves religion alone, it can prosper and all religions shall live in harmony. In many multicultural states, if they had a state religion, they would have collapsed into civil war and seperated into many countries long ago (RL example: India. Yes, you're going to say Pakistan, but the brits made pakistan, not the Indians. And India still has about 150 million Muslims, a little less than Pakistan).

MessageIf you'd come up with some better names and actually debated them, and tied in some moral guarantees, this might have actually got somewhere.

MessageI preferred the names agreed to in PUP's previous bill, but unfortunately those immoral discriminatory guarantees got snuck in at the last minute.

Perhaps one day we can stop shoving one religion's beliefs down the throats of the citizenry?

MessageThis isn't shoving down any religious beliefs; these are religiously neutral titles.

MessageI know PNF, I was referring to last year's PUP sponsored constitutional amendment.

The motto in this bill I really don't like; the others are just neutral to me.
