Bill: Government of National Unity Proposal of September 4135

Details

Submitted by[?]: Duntrekker Nasionale Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4136

Description[?]:

If the Alt-Right won't support early election perhaps they will consider a government of national unity of the active political parties in Saridan? We expect the Alt-Right to keep 5 out of 6 of their current positions, while the DNP and TAP receive 4 each. Although the government is not ideologically coherent on economic issues, at least we have a shared attitude in international affairs and more importantly we all attend the Volksraad and vote on legislation.

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
