This bill seeks to establish a government-subsidized national radio station for the purposes of information, education, and emergency assistance. 1. The Government Radio Station will receive subsidies from the Government of the Republic of Kirlawa to handle all costs of maintenance. 2. The Government Radio Station will promote programs related to the history of Kirlawa, educational matters pertaining to Kirlawa, and assist with emergency matters during crises. 3. The Government Radio Station is expressly neutral in handling political parties. It is not allowed to endorse, promote, or encourage one party against others. 4. The Government Radio Station is free and open to the citizens of Kirlawa, who may petition to use radio space for community events, social interaction, and civilian discourse provided it does not violate the above point. 5. The Government Radio Station will offer up ad space for businesses to advertise as a means of generating additional revenue for both the station and the Government. |
