Description[?]:
Parti de Renevoullement de Kanjor welcomes the modern minded green trends that are starting to dominate the markets across Terra and not least in our nation, more and more. We observe in the latest years that both awareness and culture have seen a shift towards more eco-awareness and a more ecologic way of living as well as changed attitudes. Because of this reason, the PRK simply does not see the necessity anymore in distorting the market - we have already seen considerable amounts of people commuting to work by bike or public transport, we already see cars driven by renewable fuels dominating the markets more and more and we think the market, consisting of environmentally aware citizens, can continue to drive the development in a desirable direction. We recognize that it would cost citizens more to commute - as public transport is obviously entirely free today - and therefore we propose to the members of the Sénate to also approve of a tax plan that brings more money into the pockets of citizens meaning the currently high taxes, taxing even the poorest citizens, should be reviewed. Parti de Renevoullement of Kanjor proposes to the members of the Sénate to approve of the bill, proposing the following: |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning private cars.
Old value:: Private cars are allowed, but people are encouraged to travel collective and tax incentives are provided for cars using environmentally friendly fuels.
Current: Private cars are allowed, but people are encouraged to travel collective and tax incentives are provided for cars using environmentally friendly fuels.
Proposed: There are no regulations on the ownership of private cars.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change Funding of public transport (where applicable).
Old value:: Public transport is fully subsidised by the government.
Current: Public transport is fully subsidised by the government.
Proposed: Public transport is fully user-pays.

Message | This is not green policies, this is an absolute disgrace to them, and to use this guise, this lie to say that this bill is green, when it is quite the opposite is wrong. |

Message | Kanjor is a green society and it does not need regulations anymore to be so. Do the socialists really have that much confidence issues in our people - thinking an all-knowing government must force the masses to go green? Do the socialists doubt the overwhelming majority's understanding of their own best interest? It sounds to us like the Progressive Socialist party is an elitist organization seeking to control Kanjor's people in all aspects possible, as they simply do not know better. We say enough of nanny state mentality! |
