| This bill, will clear up the legal grey space left by there being no laws on the books about this matter. We suggest that A) Transgender Citizens can change their birth Certificate to their new name, and gender B) Can use any public restroom, with the identity they associate with C) That the government recognizes said gender, and allows it to be expressed freely. D) The Cost of any operation that changes sex, will be covered under Government healthcare, so there is no out of pocket expense. |

| Message | A progressive proposal, however as we do not believe in unnecessarily expanding the welfare state beyond functions intended to help the most critically vulnerable citizens (from starvation or if people have disabilities), we will abstain from voting as this bill contains an expansion of public spending. If Article 4 could be removed and a separate bill for that proposed, we are willing to support this bill. OOC: I know this won't affect anything as the bill is just text and for RP purposes, however I want to RP realistically. A small-government party does not believe in social democratic modeled welfare states. |
