MessageMr Speaker,

We staunchly oppose this proposal. The current policy is the best of both worlds; we allow foreign investment in our companies, but do not allow for complete take over of our industries by foreign countries, therefore possibly taking jobs abroad and away from the Dorvish people. It seems the Futurists are now becoming economically right wing as well as socially.

MessageMrs. Sara Voight,

We think that, how the Future comes, we need to become economicaly futurists, but socially left, we will always be socially left.
We think that this won't change any social condition in our country.

MessageMr Ludwig,

You have never been socially left! You openly call for more restrictive and conservative social policy, and usually side with conservative parties on social issues. That's the polar opposite of being socially left!

MessageMrs. Sara Voight,

We have always been on socially left side when we voted for crucial questions. We think that we should have conservative social policy in our country, but, not because of some unknown reason, but for their FUTURE! For the better future we are, and we always will be!
We don't look if some bill agrees/disagrees with out politics, we look if that bill will help our people have better future!

MessageMr Ludwig,

You say you've always been socially left, then say you think we should have conservative social policies. Conservative social policies are basically the definition of right-wing social policy!

MessageMrs. Lohmeier,

"This is a bad idea for the economy it will lead to a loss of jobs" And we wonder how it can lead to a loss of jobs? It will attract foreing investors and will be a boost for our economy and will lead to creation of jobs which is the exact contrary to you statement. Foreign Direct Investements are the quickest way for the economy to accumulate high enough financial and infrastructural assets in order to create more jobs. Altough the justification of this bill by the FDZ is not clear, I agree, the overall effect would be splendid for our economy.

MessageMrs Repo,

This could possibly divert jobs away from Dorvish workers. If foreign investors can buy majority shares of businesses, although it will be temporarily good for the economy, they can then take the businesses abroad and employ cheaper labour elsewhere. As such in the longrun it will divert jobs away from Dorvik. This bill is extremely short sighted and could cost many Dorvish jobs, we cannot allow this irresponsibility to go forward!

MessageMrs. Voight,

If your vision of economy is to invest millions or billions of dolgars into one company just to divert jobs from a country then I assure you you are wrong. Investment of a foreign company in the Dorvisch market can provide new technologies, capital, products, organizational technologies, management skills and potential cooperation and business opportunities for local businesses. It will certainly not divert jobs from our country. And the possitive effect will not be temporary it will be permanent. Irresponsibility is to close the economy in a protective bubble and separate it from any competition whatsoever.

Erna Repo, Deputy leader of the KU.

MessageMr Speaker,

The DFU strongly oppose this proposal and would ask those in favour whether they cared for the Dorvisch people at all, or whether they had all sold out to foreign wealth and industry.

Absolute disgrace!
