Bill: Cabinet Proposal of April 2181 (National Unity #2)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Shuggoth Progressive Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2181

Description[?]:

Proposing a Cabinet

Not technically a national unity cabinet any longer, but it is still attempting to be as inclusive as possible. Parties who voted "No" during the last round of voting are excluded.

Joining the Cabinet does not obligate your party to vote any particular way at all, on any issue. Be a part of the Cabinet, and have more of a say in the direction of the Empire!

MessageI am assuming that the Seosavists were simply unable to make it to the legislature in time to vote for the last bill, so they are still included. But if the Seosavists do not respond to this vote, they will be dropped from the next one.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
