Bill: Smoking Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 4145
Description[?]:
Smoking should only be permitted in private homes and clubs. It is bad enough that children in general have to deal with second hand smoke from their own parents, but, recognizing that this is an industry which generates a considerable amount of money for the government, and is a popular one at that, the BFP proposes amending our stance on smoking to only permitting it in the privacy of one's own home or in clubs, so that children and adults who do not smoke or do not live or travel with smokers shall not be exposed or affected by the bad habits of others. |
