MessageI'm against excessive gun control, but allowing those who are known and convicted violent criminals - murderers, rapists, pedophiles, etc - to have firearms is beyond conceivable. But, per current laws, those who murder the innocent, those who rape women, and those who molest children are still permitted to posses firearms.
