Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: February 4168

Description[?]:

'Protestors have clashed in the streets following a snap election which saw the Dorvik Fascist Union gain 30 seats and incumbent President Vincent Cullman maintain his mandate. The election followed a successful call for elections early this month, which saw all but the DFU support the early elections to try and bring about stability in the State Council once again.

The election results were surprising to many and saw the following changes-
DFU- +30 seats
KU- +6 seats
LA- -11 seats
RP- +19 seats
GP- -12 seats
FdZ!- -31 seats
FP- -10 seats
LP- +10 seats
SP- +5 seats

This radical rise in the right-wing saw fascist marches clash with left-wing counter-demonstrations and there have been reported deaths in all five provinces, with riot police having been dispatched in several cities. The DFU governor of Miktar, Cäsar Engel, has instituted marshall law after clashes saw 23 dead and hundreds injured in Oppenbruck.

President Cullman has urged for calm among his own supporters and has urged opposition to 'respect the democratic process'. The situation is unknown but one things for sure. The DFU are going nowhere in Dovik'.

Random fact: Periodically, it is a good idea to go through your nation's Treaties and arrange to withdraw from any that are unwanted.
