| INTRODUCTION Introduced in October 4148, on initiative of His Majesty's Government, through the Miljøvernsministeriet (Environment Ministry) in response to the environmental realities in Kazulia. This act shall provide for the establishment of a Nasjonal Skogen Byrå (National Forestry Agency) to look after the sector of forestry. This will allow the government to ensure the health of our natural resources and will allow it to adjust and enact policy according to varying economic circumstances ARTICLE I: NATIONAL FORESTRY AGENCY The National Forestry Agency shall be the agency that manages and owns all public forest land. Regardless, this land shall remain public, and the National Forestry Agency is owned by the Kazulian people. ARTICLE II: OVERSIGHT The National Forest Agency shall be under the oversight of and accountable to the Stortinget, monarch, and Ministry of the Environment. ARTICLE III: FOREST PROTECTION The National Forest Agency is to be deemed responsible for the protection of forest land, species residing therein, and natural resources. Therefore, necessary policy decisions should be available to them to ensure this. There shall be a Forestry Police Department under the Agency's control, to deal with illegal mining, logging, and hunting activities. ARTICLE IV: LOGGING OPERATIONS The National Forest Agency shall hold a monopoly on the conduct of logging activities. This shall serve to stabilize lumber prices and ensure a steady and appropriate output of useable timber. ARTICLE V: SURVEYS The National Forest Agency shall conduct surveys of forest land |
