Description[?]:

Whereas in July 4147, during debate on the Cabinet Proposal of December 4148 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=500331), the MD from Geharon was disparaged by Imperial Prime Minister and the leader of the Luthorian People's Union, Emma Genn, with remarks such as "You, sir, are a disgusting excuse for a human. You have no place to even set your eyes on the majesty of this Diet and this nation! .";

And Whereas the conduct of the Prime Minister was a breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings of debate, to the discredit of the Imperial Diet: Now, therefore, be it Resolved,

That the Imperial Diet disapproves of the behavior of the Imperial Prime Minister,Emma Genn, during debate on the aforementioned bill held in December 4148; and
That this entire resolution be read in full by the presiding Speaker of the Imperial Diet with the Imperial Prime Minister in attendance at the dispatch box facing the Speaker.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Genns have a long history with questionable parliamentry behavior. The censures clearly have no effect on their mental family. They should be barred from this prestigious institution and forced into permanent exile.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

What a new low by Mr. Turner. The Worker's Party has become a joke in this chamber. Even though I disagreed with some of their positions, at least they actually discussed policy in the past. Now, like a bunch of school-age children, they're interested in only one thing: revenge. I believe we're seeing the terminal stage of their political existence.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I confess my self appalled by the blatant hypocrisy on the part of the Rt Hon. Margaret Patterson. It was but a year ago that she stood here, where I am standing, and filed a resolution to censure me for far less insulting language than was used by the prime minister towards me. Furthermore, surely we could all agree that the Imperial Prime Minister ought to be held to a much higher standard of decorum than should a MD. Yet, the Rt Hon. Magaret Patterson would file resolutions to censure me, then stand here today and lead her party in opposition to censure the prime minister for a more egregious beach of decorum in this chamber and assert that we are ought seeking revenge when the reality is all we are doing is seeking to hold the prime minister to the same standard that HDU would hold us, when the prime minister ought to be a held to a much higher standard.

The precedent that the HDU is setting, and what they are telling all of Luthori here today, is that they will move to censure all of their political opponents in the name of preserving decorum and the dignity of the diet, but will allow their political allys to get away with whatever whenever. It's a dangerous precedent Margaret, and you can bet that it will come back to bite you in the arse some day.

I yield,

Edison Turner
