MessagePrime Minister Jin Cheng addressed the nation this evening to announce that his party would no longer endorse proposals that would undermine basic property rights.

In his address, he said: "The time has come to define once and for all, the role of the state as a guardian of justice and equality, but not as an enemy of freedom. In that vital middle ground, our party is committed to the rebirth of a fully functioning market economy that simultaneously supports robust social services to ensure no Yingdalan is left behind. To rigorous free market competition, we say yes. To guarantees for the sick, elderly, the poor, the disenfranchised, we, too, say yes. This legislation undermines the culture of risk-taking crucial to a free and fair economy."
