Message | We will oppose this bill but appreciate the work that the authoring party has put into its arguments. National service helps to instill the critical elements of social cohesion and community responsibility into our nation's young people, preparing them for their future responsibilities as patriotic socialist citizens. Young people are always encouraged to express and develop their own individual creativity, and national service doesn't do anything to dampen or discourage that creativity. |

Message | With all due respect to the majority party, we believe that this is an important issue that should be brought to a vote. In Lourenne, any contribution made by young people to society can be characterized as promoting social cohesion and community responsibility. Furthermore, this is a primary function of their primary, secondary, and tertiary education systems. |
