Bill: Fair treatment of captured soldiers.
Details
Submitted by[?]: Likaton Fascist Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2182
Description[?]:
Kiristin Lund, currently acting as leader of TOTAL asks the convocation to consider the following. We consider the capture of other 'inferior' combatants during wartime to be inevitable. As such, it should not be the dictates of any 'supernational' laws to tell us how to treat these comabatants. Why should Likatonia, with an established system of it's own justice be answerable to an external power? We have enough faith in our national courts and processes to ensure captured prisoners are treated fairly without being answerable to anonymous international 'agreements'. |
