Bill: Freedom of Business-Promotion Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti Democratiqué Populaire
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 4224
Description[?]:
The PRK sees the current legislation touching advertisements as problematic and an old trace from the old socialist morality that dominated society for decades. We see no reason why advertisements should remain banned as they are in fact a limitation of freedom of information. The PRK is not against a debate concerning smart regulations in some respects - where specific types of advertisement can be more harmful than helpful. However, if we are to increase foreign investment and create more growth for Kanjor, we need to allow businesses to promote themsvelves. |
