Message | This would basically be a completely federalists nations. It is necessary for unity to have a strong central government along side a weaker, but still influential local government. |

Message | Actually, it would be more Confederation than Federalism in any sense. We are not a Confederation, we are a Union. |

Message | The KSP concurs. |

Message | Confederation, that was the word I was looking for. |

Message | This doesn’t alter the constitution nature of Kundrati, it just changes some titles. |

Message | Changing names is just the beginning. |

Message | Constituent Nation effectively makes us a Confederation/or Federation of states. The Kundrati Union is one nation, not five. |

Message | "Changing names is just the beginning." Maybe, but if the people of Jildrath ever decide to split from Kundrati surely the Surprise Party and all others would support that as their democratic right? "The Kundrati Union is one nation, not five." The people of Jildrath may disagree with that overly dismissive statement! |

Message | "The Kundrati Union is one nation, not five." OOC: Plus the very name "Union" suggests otherwise. |
Date | 23:29:22, February 09, 2006 CET | From | Unio enim si quis Motus Populi | To | Debating the Union Terminology Act |
Message | OOC: The United States is a Union, and the idea that each state was it's only little nation was abandoned by the signing of the Constitution. As well, The Soviet Union was also a Union, and each republic could hardly be considered it's own nation. |
Date | 15:11:13, February 10, 2006 CET | From | Union of Work-Shy Elements | To | Debating the Union Terminology Act |
Message | OOC: I have to disagree with you, especially on the point of the USSR. You’re claiming places like Belarus, Ukraine or Poland were/are not distinct nations? Remember what the USSR stands for after all. Also, your two examples are extremely narrow in scope. What about places like the UK? How would you explain that seeming flaw in your argument? |
