MessageThis would basically be a completely federalists nations. It is necessary for unity to have a strong central government along side a weaker, but still influential local government.

MessageActually, it would be more Confederation than Federalism in any sense.

We are not a Confederation, we are a Union.

MessageConstituent Nation effectively makes us a Confederation/or Federation of states. The Kundrati Union is one nation, not five.

Maybe, but if the people of Jildrath ever decide to split from Kundrati surely the Surprise Party and all others would support that as their democratic right?

"The Kundrati Union is one nation, not five."

The people of Jildrath may disagree with that overly dismissive statement!

OOC: Plus the very name "Union" suggests otherwise.

MessageOOC: The United States is a Union, and the idea that each state was it's only little nation was abandoned by the signing of the Constitution. As well, The Soviet Union was also a Union, and each republic could hardly be considered it's own nation.

MessageOOC: I have to disagree with you, especially on the point of the USSR. You’re claiming places like Belarus, Ukraine or Poland were/are not distinct nations? Remember what the USSR stands for after all.

Also, your two examples are extremely narrow in scope. What about places like the UK? How would you explain that seeming flaw in your argument?
