The Baltusian news leader interview series part 1 Mr Andy Chistron Profile https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/616198230297214976/PeR519Mx.png Age: 55 Party: RAC Leader since: 4146 Religion: none (Atheism) Political position: LW to FL Interview Deborah smith Baltusian news: ah thank you for joining me mr Chistron Andy Chistron: always a pleasure DS first of when and how did you get into politics AC well my parents were both RAC members and I was politically aware from a young age but I didn't really get into politics until my late teens, in university I was a student activist and joined the RAC fully around 19 years of age DS so you have been into politics your whole life then AC yes DS do you have any other interests AC yes I enjoy history, cycling with my wife and kids and long hill walks DS ok next question any comments on the cloning crisis just now AC oh yes (he laughs) gosh well it's a big matter but as I said and I will say it again just because a number of people don't want cloning doesn't mean we should stop I mean do the right ever stop when we say your going to destroy the environment well no so I think we should fight for the chance for the continuity of cloning research because many people could lose their jobs and lives if the "god squad" get their way DS wow strong words their mr Chistron, do you think it's right to call Hosians loonies and the god squad AC yes, I am all for religious tolerance but when they start to force their way into politics then I am not so tolerant I mean you don't see Ahmadi's or pagans forcing their way into Baltusian politics DS thank you mr Chistron, next question who do you think will be you successor AC hmm that's a hard one I would say probably a younger member like deputy leader Sophie Balotti or Jacob Johnson but Alfred martins is a long time member and has been supported by a good deal of senior members DS thank you and final question what's your opinion on the Baltusian campaign for Seat C AC I fully support it I think we could do a good job in the world council, foreign policy is the one thing most parties in Baltusia seem to agree on and it was disappointing that we didn't continue last time DS and with that the interview is now over thank you mr Chistron and goodbye |
