Bill: P.I 4157 - The Forest Clearance Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Forente Fascistiske Partiet

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4159

Description[?]:

Introduction:
Forests are sitting upon valuable resources that advance our nation as a whole. The people should not be confined to the barriers of cities. For our nation to continue the rate of economic growth, these forests must get out of our path. The Forente Fascistiske Partief therefore proposes:

Article 1:
The government should give money to forestry companies willing to cut down forests. This allows our people to build houses, roads, and farms throughout these cleared areas.

Article 2:
These forests should not be allowed to grow back again. The government should leave it to local governments for if trees should be replanted, or if they should allow these cut areas to have people live on and prosper on them.

We believe this is a step too far, we should not destroy the forests of Kazulia, but preserve them. Preserve the forests, preserve the beauty.

MessageHerr Huspresident,

It appears, to no one's surprise, that the fascists have proposed another hairbrained and idiotic action, which contradicts the findings of the Nasjonal Skogen Byrå's (National Forestry Agency) findings and research from its research divisions. We just instituted a forestry and preservation policy that is ensuring fairly priced lumber and socially just and ecologically conscious land use. These numbskulls want to take that away.

MessageHerr Huspresident,

The Forente Fascistiske Partiet laughs at the communist parties lack of knowledge regarding economics. These ignorant fools are causing the people to suffer. We are therefore going to explain why this bill is beneficial to everyone.

The increased production of lumber leads to the price of lumber falling. This cheaper lumber is beneficial to our factories, businesses, and consumers that use this lumber. Cheaper lumber results in these factories to be able to buy them for less, leading to an increase of profit. This means we can produce goods at a cheaper cost than other countries. This is called a comparative advantage.

Our lumber industry is hurt by this, which is why we propose that the government offer subsidies to these tree-felling companies. This allows them to still earn a profit for what they do.

Let this be a lesson to the economy-killing communists, who seem to oppose job growth and a higher standard of living for the people.

MessageHerr Huspresident,

What the Forente Fascistiske Partiet is proposing is the unregulated deforestation of the various forests and preservation parks scattered across the country. I do not expect the Forente Fascistiske Partiet to be able to comprehend the ecological mess that will follow if this legislation were to pass. It is very easy to describe the Forente Fascistiske Partiet in one sentence:- "The eyes are open, the mouth moves, but Mr. Brain has long since departed." From statistics gathered by the National Forestry Agency, around eighty-to ninety percent of land animals in Kazulia, live in forests, and many will be able to cope with the rate at which forests will be brought down if this legislation were to pass. I am sure the Environment Minister will be willing to get into a long lecture on this matter and its affects to our environment and industry, yes mass deforestation also affect industry.
But once again, we are dealing with the Forente Fascistiske Partiet. Whose actions and conduct mirror what i am about to say: "if nothing else works a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through". This legislation will not pass. I will make it my sole purpose to derail and oppose anything from the Forente Fascistiske Partiet that is not beneficial to this country. In response to the statements by Mr. Hans Kringen previously, I wonder who was using the family brain cell at the time, because clearly it wasn't Mr. Kringen.

MessageHerr Huspresident,

We can no longer take the Nasjonal Arbeiderkongress seriously due to their childish instults thrown at us.

We would alsolike to condemn them for favoring deer over our people.
