Bill: Criminal Voting Reform 4158
Details
Submitted by[?]: Fortschrittsvereinigung
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 4158
Description[?]:
We believe that criminals convicted of extremely serious crimes should not be allowed to intervene with our electoral process, even after release for a small amount of time. Many criminals go on to reoffend, and we don't want those people to help decide the future of our nation. As such we propose a short period of time after release where criminals cannot vote in elections, to help prevent eventual reoffenders from potentially changing the path of our nation. |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: Criminals released from jail are allowed to vote.
