Message | We can support gradual and consensual reform but not the drastic and unexplained overhaul proposed in this bill. Firstly, where have the NDU pulled these bizarre titles from but we obviously prefer the terms which have been used in Aldegar for centuries over foreign influences. Furthermore, we do not understand why individuals in larger regions should have votes which are worth less than those in smaller regions- that is wrong. Lastly, while we can support expansion of the Divan, we could not support anything more than 300 members. Farzin Shahbahram Aldegarian National Party |

Message | The reforms will be, when implemented, for the good of the nation. They will be for the good of the people. They shall transition our land into a new golden age, where maximum representation of the people is achieved and the democratic government maintains the upmost power over the course of the nation. |

Message | Unsubstantiated hyperbole is unlikely to win me over, Comrades. You have heard my response and unless you can justify this legislation, we won't be supporting. Farzin Shahbahram Aldegarian National Party |

Message | You have already put it forward. Do you take me for some kind of imbecile? Farzin Shahbahram Aldegarian National Party |
Date | 01:28:22, February 03, 2017 CET | From | National Democratic Union | To | Debating the Reforming the Nation |
Message | You are an imbecile if you don't know there's a difference between publishing drafts and white papers and putting a bill to a vote. Putting forward is to put it to a vote. |
Date | 18:37:53, February 03, 2017 CET | From | Hezb-e Melli-ye Aldegār | To | Debating the Reforming the Nation |
Message | That is incorrect. 'Putting it forward' means to present the bill, which you have clearly already done. That the government feels fit to refer to the leader of the opposition as an 'imbecile' shows the sad state of affairs under the National 'Democratic' Union- who should use that particular adjective much less! Message | No, you are incorrect. You literally are. You possess an incorrect understanding of political parlence. Furthermore, were are democratic as this bill shows- we are actively removing barrier to further democratisation. |
Date | 14:07:19, February 04, 2017 CET | From | Hezb-e Melli-ye Aldegār | To | Debating the Reforming the Nation |
Message | What is democratic about a region of 100 people and a region of 10,000,000 people receiving the same number of seats in the legislature? Farzin Shahbahram Aldegarian National Party |
Date | 19:59:03, February 04, 2017 CET | From | National Democratic Union | To | Debating the Reforming the Nation |
Message | It is democratic as it stops larger regions from dominating and imposing their will on the rest of the nation. |
Date | 20:10:39, February 04, 2017 CET | From | Hezb-e Melli-ye Aldegār | To | Debating the Reforming the Nation |
Message | So you believe it is fair that one individual's vote is worth 100,000 times more than another individuals? What a backwards view. Farzin Shahbahram Aldegarian National Party |
Date | 10:37:44, February 05, 2017 CET | From | National Democratic Union | To | Debating the Reforming the Nation |
Message | All votes matter the same, therefore they should be equal and contribute the same amount to the same number of seats. |

Message | I call for the removal of the Member from the Divan for the use of most unparliamentary language. The government will not stand for these insults of our character- if not for the obstructionism you would obviously create, we would progress of grand plan for the future of the constitution, our vision for a future, democratic country. But you conive to block us at every turn ans stage. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
