Bill: Post Office Privatisation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4166

Description[?]:

Members of Congress,

We see no reason why this must remain a nationalised industry at all. Vital as the delivery of letter and parcels is, this could be handled more competitively through regulated private companies that will bring innovation and technology to the table to speed up deliveries and drive down the price for consumers.

The sell off of Baltusian Mail and the National Post Office would also help to generate a windfall for the government coffers which could be used in other areas of the economy.

Caroline Sweet,
Patriotic Party Trade and Industry Spokesperson.
